Andy Bennett C007 - Chocolate Cedar & Honduran Rosewood

$3,850.00Price

This is a beautiful, handmade classical guitar built by local luthier Andy Bennett of Manitou Springs, CO. The attention to detail is amazing, and the tone and playability of this guitar are special indeed. The Chocolate cedar used for top is breathtaking and compliments the Honduran rosewood back and sides perfectly. The hyper-detailed, Russian-made rosette is quite amazing.

From Andy Bennett:

I built this classical/flamenco guitar in 2025 and strung it on June 6th. The action is standard but the saddle is high for more down pressure into the top. The sound of the guitar is strong with a good balance of bass, mid range and trebles. The top is Chocolate Cedar. Sides and back are Honduras Rosewood and the neck is laminated African mahogany with double-acting truss rod. The "Port" in the upper bout side is my signature "Fleur de Lis" design. Fingerboard, peg head overlay and bridge are all ebony. The bindings are Macassar ebony. The rosette is Russian-made and the finish is natural Watco Danish oil. The size and shape of the instrument are similar to a Torres and the top bracing is my Spider design. The tuners are Gotoh. The scale is 650mm with 12 frets to the body...19 overall and the nut width is 51mm.

Hard-shell HumiCase case included.
