Santa Cruz FS - Redwood & East Indian Rosewood

This is a wonderful custom Fingerstyle model from Santa Cruz, featuring a beautiful redwood top finished in a custom "Happy Traum" burst that is formulated specifically for redwood. The classic FS turquoise-blue rosette and purfling create a vivid contrast to the glowing top. The back and sides are perfect East Indian Rosewood, wrapped in Brazilian rosewood binding and backstrip. Perhaps the most notable custom feature of this FS is the use of scalloped top bracing, as opposed to the normal tapered bracing. The scalloped bracing allows the top to move more freely, resulting in extended bass response.

The FS Model was designed in response to the renaissance of alternate tunings for complex fingerstyle arrangements.
