This is a tremendous OM Grand, featuring beautifully figured Claro walnut  back and sides, and a striking bearclaw German spruce top with a lovely vintage tint. This guitar is striking in its simple, clean ornamentation, highlighted by exquisite cowboy rope purfling and rosette, unattached pickguard (included in case), and figured Claro walnut peghead overlay. Upgraded stainless steel fret wire and a perfect 3/2 setup make this guitar amazingly easy to play. Most rewarding of all, unlocking the voice of this guitar is immediately intuitive, yielding a tone that is smooth, clean, powerful and elegant.

SCGC’s OM Grand is a bigger, lusher, louder sister to their extremely popular OM model.  In comparison, the OM Grand embodies the same elegance, only in increased quantity of volume, projection and bass.  More isn’t necessarily better, though in the context of a band’s competing acoustic instruments the ‘more’ of the OM Grand assures the guitar’s rightful dominance in the ensemble. The strength of the OM Grand, however, isn’t limited to sheer volume.
